Vice-Rector for Equality and Diversity PoliciesProf. Dr. Barbara Poggio is Vice-Rector for Equality and Diversity Policies at the University of Trento, where she also coordinates the Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies (web.unitn.it/csg). She teaches Sociology of Work and Sociology of Organisation at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the same university.
She has several experiences in national and international research projects about gender differences in organisations, gender and entrepreneurship, gender and technology and work-life balance. In particular she coordinated TSER, EQUAL, LEONARDO, SOCRATES and FP7 projects.
Her current research interests are: gender and organizations, gender and science, techniques and methods of research in organizational studies, narrative analysis.
